Promote your Plan

After building your recruitment and retention plan, start by promoting it broadly to members of your division, your community and other key stakeholders to gain support in your search for suitable candidates. If any of these stakeholders were involved in the development of your plan, ensure each representative promotes the plan to their peers and respective organizations.

Set yourself up for success by engaging key stakeholders to be onside by communicating your recruitment and retention goals, planned activities, and intended outcomes. As well, discuss current and potential roles of each stakeholder in the effort and ways to work together to optimize efforts.
