The World Directory of Medical Schools provides detailed information about all medical schools in the world.
Important notes:
- To be eligible to practice medicine in BC, the medical school that you attend must be listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools and be recognized in Canada.
- Read more about how to identify international medical schools that are recognized in Canada by clicking here.
- Canadian and non-Canadian citizens (or permanent residents) who attend a medical school outside of Canada are recognized as international medical graduates (IMGs).
