This is an exam that assesses the readiness of an IMG for entrance into a Canadian medical residency program. Through a series of clinical scenarios, the NAC OSCE tests knowledge skills and attitudes essential for entry into postgraduate training.
Before taking this exam, you must have passed the MCCEE.
NAC OSCE is accepted by the Canadian Residency Matching Service as part of the application.
You do need the NAC OSCE to apply for medical residency in British Columbia.
